Dr. Albanese started Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2005. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with Honors, and his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, IA. Following medical school, Dr. Albanese completed a rotating internship between Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, and Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his Nephrology Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, OH. Dr. Albanese is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
 

His special interests in nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, and dialysis. Dr. Albanese is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, and Community Medical Center. 

Dr. Jain joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2005. She received her undergraduate degree from Drew University in Madison, NJ, with honors magna cum laude. She received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ where she also completed her residency. 
 

She completed her Nephrology Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Jain is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Her special interests in Nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, and dialysis. Dr. Jain is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, and Community Medical Center.

Dr. Bruno joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2006 and received his undergraduate degree from the New York Institute of Technology, with honors cum laude. He received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. Following medical school, he completed a rotating internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, and SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. 
 

He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and completed his Nephrology fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital/NYU School of Medicine in New York, NY. Dr. Bruno is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His special interests in Nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, and dialysis. Dr. Bruno is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, and Community Medical Center.

Dr. Kapoor joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from New York Institute of Technology/NY College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Following medical school, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and was a Chief Medical Resident during his last year of residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. He completed his Nephrology fellowship at Westchester Medical center as well Dr. Kapoor is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His special interests in Nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, and dialysis. Dr. Kapoor is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Community Medical Center, and is the Medical Director of Hooper outpatient dialysis unit in Toms River, NJ.

Dr. Anantharaman joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2009 and received her medical degree in 1996. She completed her internship at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute and her Residency in Internal Medicine at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her Nephrology Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY. 
 

Dr. Anantharaman worked as an Assistant Professor, Section of Nephrology, at West Virginia University, Department of Medicine from 2004-2009. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Her special interests in Nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, and dialysis. Dr. Anantharaman is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Community Medical Center and is the Medical Director of Renal Ventures outpatient dialysis unit in Brick, NJ.

Dr. Weiner joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2012. He received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Duke University in Durham, NC, with honors cum laude and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. Following medical school, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Nephrology Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital -UMDNJ in New Brunswick, NJ.
 

Dr. Weiner is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His special interests in Nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, and dialysis. Dr. Weiner is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, and Community Medical Center.

Dr. Patel joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with honors cum laude. After obtaining her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. She subsequently completed her Nephrology Fellowship at New York Medical College - Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Patel is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

Her special interests in Nephrology include management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone prevention, electrolyte disorders, and dialysis. Dr. Patel is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, and Community Medical Center. She is fluent in Gujarati and Spanish. In her spare time, Dr. Patel is an avid reader and zealous traveler.

Dr. Toma joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2021. Dr. Toma graduated from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center before moving to Columbia University, where she completed fellowships in both general and transplant nephrology. A New Jersey native, Dr. Toma is passionate about providing excellent care close to home, to both transplant and non-transplant patients alike.

Kimberly Sayne joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2017. She received her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Nursing from Monmouth University and Fairleigh Dickinson University, with Dean’s List honors. She received her graduate degree in Nursing from Monmouth University. Kimberly is credentialed at numerous dialysis centers and rehabilitation facilities.

Susan Lancaster joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2019. She received her degree in Nursing from Ocean County Community College with Pi Theta Kappa honors. She worked most of her nursing career in the critical care setting as well as cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology before returning to school to pursue an Advanced Practice degree. She received her graduate degree in Nursing from Walden University. Susan is credentialed at numerous dialysis centers and rehabilitation facilities.

Amanda Riley joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College in which she attended on a NROTC scholarship. Amanda served in the US Navy Nurse Corps for 16 years including an overseas tour in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and achieved the rank of Commander. She received her Master of Science in Nursing with Sigma Theta Tau honors from Monmouth University.

Amy Carr joined Jersey Coast Nephrology and Hypertension Associates in 2023. She completed her undergraduate degree in Human Development Family Studies at Pennsylvania State University, and subsequently completed her Nursing degree at Rutgers University. Most of her experience is in the Emergency Department at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Ocean University Medical Center. Additionally, she served on the Rapid Response Team tending to critical patients at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She completed her Nurse Practitioner degree at Felician University, and enjoys the vast versatility which Nephrology brings.
